Breast cancer remains one of the most significant health challenges globally, affecting millions of women each year. With lifestyle factors contributing to nearly 30% of breast cancer cases, the need for effective prevention strategies has never been more critical. The MELIORA project, an innovative EU-funded initiative, is leading the charge in transforming breast cancer prevention through the use of AI and digital tools.

On behalf of the MELIORA project and the European Health Management Association (EHMA), we are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming Co-Creation Workshop. This event will bring together a diverse group of European stakeholders—including breast cancer patients, survivors, women at risk, policymakers, and healthcare professionals—to collaboratively shape the future of breast cancer prevention.

Workshop Overview

The MELIORA Co-Creation Workshop is designed to be an inclusive and dynamic platform where participants can share insights, experiences, and ideas. The workshop will focus on the following key areas:

  1. Understanding Barriers to Healthy Living: We will explore the socioeconomic and cultural barriers that impact healthy and active living across Europe. By understanding these challenges, we can develop more effective strategies for prevention.
  2. Promoting Healthier Lifestyles: The workshop will identify behaviors and factors that can support a healthier lifestyle at both individual and community levels, contributing to reduced breast cancer risk.
  3. Tailoring AI and Digital Tools: MELIORA’s cutting-edge AI and digital tools, including the intelligent Virtual Coach, are designed to empower women with personalised guidance and support. The workshop will focus on how these tools can be customised to meet the diverse needs of users, ensuring they are both effective and user-friendly.
  4. Collaborative Problem-Solving: Participants will work together to develop strategies for overcoming challenges and enhancing the acceptability and feasibility of MELIORA’s solutions. Your insights will directly influence the direction of our project, helping to create impactful, sustainable outcomes.
